Where to look for mold

We all know that the black mold is dangerous and that they look really bad and ugly. You are aware that mold has to be removed as soon as possible to prevent further health risks like pulmonary hemorrhage, asthma, headaches, nose bleeding and the like. You are well versed that upon mold detection, it is highly advised that you hire a mold expert for complete mold removal.

But do you know the most common areas conducive to mold growth? We are listing them down for everybody’s reference. The next time that you go mold-hunting on your own, you are sure to find every mold-infected area.

Basements that have been flooded – As we all know, mold grows fast in the presence of moisture. Areas that have been flooded are known to accumulate excessive moisture. Check out your basement when hunting for the black mold. There is a big chance that you’ll see abundance inside it.

Under the sink – Some sinks, especially those with leaks, make it easier for the black mold to thrive. Check your sinks – whether the ones in the kitchen or in the bathroom.

Behind your fridges – It’s cold in your refrigerators. Once again, the low temperature allows the black mold to grow fast.

Your stockroom – Your stock room contain stacks of wet newspaper piles, damp cardboard boxes and many more. This again, makes a conducive atmosphere for mold growth so when doing your mold inspection make sure that you don’t miss your stock rooms.

Air-conditioning units – Just like your refrigerators, the back of your air cons are a good place for mold to thrive. It contains high moisture content so the black mold can develop and grow in abundance very fast.

To prevent mold growth and to keep them from recurring, it is highly recommended that you use natural cleaning products. Commercial cleaners contain hazardous chemicals which like the black mold, may pose high risks to our health. Green cleaning products are not only effective mold removers but safe products as well which will ensure good health and well-being throughout the whole cleaning process.
